The GS glass rod, commonly known as "transition glass," was acquired from TRANSITION GLASS PRODUCTS LTD (TGP) in 2017. It allows for strong sealing between low thermal expansion (CTE) glass and materials such as metal electrodes. Typical applications include sealing tungsten electrodes of flash lamps to quartz glass.
It is suitable for projects with high freedom of cross-sectional shape and size, and large quantity volumes.
